Language for Life also has a growing English-Portuguese online language exchange.

Our main goal is to help as many people as possible to improve their speaking skills in another language and bring together a community of language enthusiasts.

Language Exchange does exactly that. We bring together English and Portuguese speakers from around the world and provide them with a safe, fun, and relaxing platform to improve their skills, meet new people, and learn about other cultures.

There are fortnightly topics, weekly challenges, useful learning materials, and special sessions such as;

• Special guest ‘Hyperpolyglot Salvatore Acerra’ who discussed his tips for learning a language. 21st February 2024

• Special guest ‘Portuguese pronunciation specialist Catarina Chipamauld’ who helped Portuguese learners with their fluency and listening skills. 16th May 2024

• One Year special session ‘Speed Exchange’ - same exchange, more conversations. 21st November 2024

• Christmas Quiz - festive fun. 12th December 2024

• 100th session ‘Games Night’ - fun games and competitions in both languages. 27th March 2025
